Restarting Transmission

If you are experiencing issues with access your Transmission client, there are a few quick solutions you can check before contacting support. 1) Login to your shell and run the following command:
2) This will show all the running processes under your username. Find the PID that is associated with transmission-daemon and run the following command (if the process isn't listed, skip to step #4):
3) Recheck your process list to make sure the process has disappeared.
4) When the process is no longer listed, run the following command to start your client:
If you have many torrents loaded, it make take the client a few minutes to broadcast on your port. |
