Transdroid can be used to control rTorrent from your Android phone.

Upon installing, you will be presented with a screen explaining that you need to open the settings menu. Do so.

Click Add SeedM8 Server.

Name — can be anything you want, such as "SeedM8"

Server name — like alpha.seedm8.com (make sure you change alpha to whichever server you are on)

Username — this is your torrent client username (you can find your details on your billing account)

How to get your RPC Password:

After logging into your SSH server, run the following command:

cat ~/www/`whoami`.`hostname -s`.seedm8.com/public_html/rutorrent/conf/config.php | grep XMLRPCMountPoint | cut -d: -f3 | cut -d@ -f1

1) SSH to your SeedM8 seedbox and navigate to ~/www/username.servername.seedm8.com/public_html/rutorrent/conf

2) Type 'nano config.php' to see, line 24:

http://rutorrent:D4tO345weTDC1zk@username.servername.seedm8.com/username/RPC

(the part in bold is the example of your password)

Use this password on your TransDroid app on your android.

SFTP Password — this is your SFTP password which will allow you to download files to your phone
