Suggestions from many of our members, has led SeedM8 Inc. today to release a revolutionary cost savings package to our already widely known products. For those of you who only use a seedbox for a couple months to raise your ratios, but plan on re-subscribing in the next couple months when you need that "boost" will find this useful.

All users can downgrade their seedbox packages to a “parking” only account where they lose access to their seedbox and all the files but will be able to access their parked files when they reactivate their seedbox as long as the small parking invoice is paid.

If you would like to downgrade your account for the month, you can request this via a support ticket or by emailing This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it . The cost of storing all your files on the server is 50% of the original package cost.

For example: If you have the M.50 account (which comes up to be $20/month for 100 GB of space), you can request to be billed for the account parking on a monthly basis. It would cost you $10 every month you would like us to hold on to (“park”) the files on our servers (without access). When you decide you would like access to the files again (and the seedbox clients), you can connect with our support team and pay the rest of the prorated invoice for the remainder of the month. Any unpaid parking invoices will be handled the same way as a regular package invoice.

SeedM8 is proud to announce more disk space for FREE on our MBiT unmetered seedboxes!

Effective immediately, all MBiT Unmetered Slots have doubled their allowed disk space quota. Below are the following changes to your account:

M.50 = 100 GB of disk space
M.100 = 200 GB of disk space
M.150 = 300 GB of disk space
M.200 = 400 GB of disk space

A second matter we would like to address is the introduction of new plans. Sometime in the next few months, we will start offering a new line of semi-dedicated seedboxes (given that there is interest). Below are the current specs that we are testing. The semi-dedicated accounts will come with all the great features of our basic plans except for the fact that the accounts will be separated on individual hard drives. This alleviates the issue of I/O wait issues if the hard drives are too busy.

Over the past couple days we have been testing ruTorrent 3.2 and Deluge 1.3.1 on our test servers and we feel they are stable enough to run on the production servers.

If you are using Deluge, your client has already been updated. You should see the effects immediately. As for ruTorrent, you will need to contact us to run an update on your account if you would like to run the new version.
